Deo Hah Open Karate Championship gets underway at Deshbhakta Tarunram Phookan Indoor Stadium

GUWAHATI: The Deo Hah Open Karate Championship got underway at the Deshbhakta Tarunram Phookan Indoor Stadium under the initiative of Unified Karate Guild and under the auspices of Assam State Karate Association.

The gold medal winners on Sunday were Bhabesh Deori, Jaswa Chage, Junius Ray, Parash M Kashyap, Yayam Yangfo, Gunjan Kalita, Rafeedah Zareen, Abhinab Saikia, Sakib Ahmed, Bhaskarjya Bhiyan Kalita, Himanshu Borah, Unicy Das, Shamiran Sarania Das, Mrigashi Das.

The tournament has been organized with the message of promoting Assam’s state bird Deo Hah and conservation of the environment. This is stated in a release.
