Derhasa Boro Gives 1st Innings Lead to Tezpur

GUWAHATI: A terrific spell from Derhasa Boro guided Tezpur to take 57 runs 1st innings lead against Jorhat in the Radha Gobinda Baruah U-16 Inter District Cricket Tournament at Barpeta today. In reply to Tezpur's first innings total 95 Jorhat today bowled out paltry 66 runs. Derhasa bowled a magical spell in the innings. His 9.4 overs had five maidens and the bowlers took 6 for 9.Tezpur were 28-2 in their second innings at stumps.

Brief scores: Tezpur 1st innings 95 (43.2 overs), Vastav Basumatary 25, Purab Agarwalla 4-39. Ankur Gogoi 3-28, Jorhat 1st innings 66 (30.4 overs), Ahir Ullah Khanikar 28, Derhasa Boro 6-9, Tezpur 2nd innings 28-2 (13 overs).
