Erik Roy, Biplab Saikia Shine in Santipur's Win

Guwahti: Rode on double tons from Erik Roy and Biplab Saikia Santipur Athletic Club thrashed ASEB Sports Club by 167 runs in the opening game of Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship match held at the Judges Field here today. Erik Roy played 84 balls to score unbeaten 111 and there were nine boundaries and three sixes in his innings.

On the other hand Biplab Saikia needed just 64 balls to play the knock of 104 runs and he hit 13 boundaries and four sixes. All the first round (District/Sub Division/University level) matches got under way today in different venues.
