Friendship Volleyball Meet Organized by 68th Bn SSB Debendranagar

GUWAHATI: The 68th Bn SSB Debendranagar (Tezpur) organized a volleyball tournament as per the direction of Madhukar Amitabh, Commandant 68 BN SSB at Rajapokhri football ground in Disputed Area Belt between Assam and Nagaland border on September 18 to 20. Altogether 8 teams from both the states participated in the event. The event was organized to nourish a feeling of brotherhood among the local population of the border area. The volleyball match was a success as it attracted the young and old to the ground with cheers for their team. The whole tournament was successfully conducted under the command of M. T. Meren Dy.Commandant (OPS) 68th BN SSB. The tournament was won by Chetiagaon village team who defeated Yanpha village Volleyball team in the final. Pranjal Bora, SDPO Sarupathar, Krishan Jyoti Deka, BM Sarupathar, Meyazungba Jamir, BM Ralan were present and distributed the prizes. This is stated in a release.
