Gauhati Town Club Earn Full Points in GSA Super Division Match at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Gauhati Town Club (GTC) defeated NFRSC by 2-0 in the GSA Super Division Soccer League match held at the Nehru stadium here today. The side took the lead in the 32nd minutes through Kakhevi Assumi and later Basanta Boro increased the margin in the 80th minutes. The match took ugly turn near the end as the players of both the sides involved with some unsporting activities. To tackle the situation referee showed red cards to GTC players Nabin Rabha, Bijoy Borgohain and Sankar Sil of NFRSA. After today’s game GTC collected 8 points from 8 matches. NFRSC are now at seventh spot with seven points.
