Inter Club Golf Tournament held at Tezpur

TEZPUR, Jan 8: The Guwahati Railway Green Golf Club emerged champion of the second edition of the Inter Club Golf Tournament : The BORBHAG Cup, held at GTA, Solmara, Tezpur today.

Misa Polo club finished runner-up in the competition. Khanshree Brahma became the ladies' champion this year while Ooma Tewari Tariang finished runner-up.

The winners in various categories were presented medallions in the post-match prize distribution ceremony graced by Chief Guest of the valedictory function Kumar Sanjay Krishna, Chairman, Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission. Major General Sanjay Sajjan Har, chief of staff, 4 Corps, Tezpur attended the function as the guest of honour.

A total of 96 golfers including 14 professionals took part in the meet.
