Kerala Beat Assam in VM Trophy held at ACA stadium, Barsapara

GUWAHATI: Assam lost to Kerala by two wickets in the VM Trophy match held at the ACA stadium, Barsapara here today. Elected to bat Assam were bowled out 184 on the last ball of the innings. Kerala, who also struggled during their innings, reached the target in 45.1 overs losing eight wickets. Nasir Ullah (42) and Danish Das (35) were the major scorers for Assam while Alfi Francis (47) was the top scorer for Kerala. Alfi also picked up four wickets during Assam innings. On the other hand Dasarath Kumar and Abdul Kuraishi from Assam bagged three wickets each in the game.
