Kokrajhar bag best team award in athletics event in CM’s Gaon Panchayat Sports meet

GUWAHATI: Kokrajhar adjudged the best team award in the athletics event in CM’s Gaon Panchayat Sports meet held at the SAI complex here today. Sivasagar bagged the second spot. In the individual category, Idul Hussain (Kamrup M) and Trishna Bora (Kokrajhar) received the best athlete awards in the boys' and girls' sections respectively. Meanwhile, Charaideo will face Kokrajhar in the final of the football which will be held tomorrow. Charaideo in the first semi-final defeated Lakhimpur by 2-0 while in the other last-four matches Kokrajhar came better against Dibrugarh by 2-1 today.
