Lumding emerge champion in the RPF Inter Divisional Badminton Championship

GUWAHATI: Lumdimg Division emerged champion in the RPF Inter Divisional Badminton Championship that concluded at the Badminton Hall of NF Railway Spots Stadium at Maligaon today. Tinsukia Division finished runners up. Closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by RB Rubnawar, CSC (RPF, NF Railway) and also distributed the prizes to the winners.

Final results of various categories: Veteran Singles: Champion- T Santi Kr Singh, 1st runners up -S Narandra Singh, 2nd runners up- Rakesh Sharma. Veteran doubles: Champion-Rakesh Sharma and HN Singh. 1st runners up-Dilip Dutta and Tiken Ch Das. 2nd runners up-TS Singha and SN Singh. Open singles: Champion- Wairokpam Rajesh Singh. 1st runners-up LR Singh. 2nd runners up-Jitendra Kumar. Open single: Champion-Rakesh Sharma, 1st runners up- Migom Doley. 2nd runners-up Sanjib Kumar. Open Doubles: Champion Migom Doley and WR Singh. 1st runners up- Rakesh Sharma and LR Singh. 2nd runners up: Pabitra Dihingia, Bitul Dutta.
