Meghalaya beat Manipur 1-0

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya defeated Manipur by a solitary goal in a group ‘B’ matches of the Santosh Trophy held at Capital Football Arena in Bhubaneswar on Monday. The all important goal of the match was scored by Brolington Warlarpih in the 62nd minute of the game. It was the first victory for Meghalaya beat Manipur 1-0 in their second appearance in the final round. On the other hand Manipur, also played their second group league match today, suffered their first defeat. Services leading the six-team group with six points and they were followed by Manipur, Meghalaya and Railways with three points each.
