Nalbari in driver's seat f JK Baruah Inter District Cricket at Golaghat

GUWAHATI: Nalabari took upper hand against Silchar in the final of JK Baruah Inter District Cricket at Golaghat today. In reply to Silchar's first innings total 190, Nalbari were 94-1 in their first innings at stumps on day I. The side now needs just 97 runs to take vital first innings lead which may ensure title for them.

Elected to bat, Silchar were bowled out 190 in their first innings thanks to a nice spell from NiharDeka who picked up 5-58. RoshanTopno (56) was the highest scorer for Silchar in the first innings. NiharDeka later also contributed well with the bat and remained not out on 58.
