Navajyoti club earn full points in RG Baruah Super Division Football League

GUWAHATI: Navajyoti club earned full points in their first game in second leg of the RG Baruah Super Division Football League defeating Assam Police Blues by 2-1 at the Nehru Stadium here today.

Anis Ali and Jhantu Prasad scored for Navajyoti within first 45th minutes of the game and Bishwajit Boro returned one for Assam Police Blues a few seconds before the final whistle. It was the third victory for Navajyoti club and they were elevated to fifth place in the points table with 10 points. Assam Police Blues are at third place with 12 points.
