Navarang Club to celebrate golden jubilee

GUWAHATI: Navarang Club, a city based organization that produced multiple cricketers for the State Ranji trophy team, will celebrate its golden jubilee year hosting various competition that included a prize money marathon and a sports quiz competition. It was decided in the Annual General Meeting of the club which was held recently at the club premises. The new executive committee of the club was also formed in the meeting where Rajib Prakash Baruah, Prince Hazarika and Naba Konwar elected as the president, secretary and treasurer respectively.

In a release the president of the club Rajib Prakash Baruah said that both the competitions would be held short-ly and would carry prize money. The club will also organize a yogasana training camp and will felicitate all the players of the club who represented Assam in Ranji Trophy.
