North East Zone Shooting Championship: Assam top in NE shooting meet

GUWAHATI: Assam emerged champion in the 10th North East Zone Shooting Championship, 2023 that concluded in Shillong on Sunday. Assam shooters achieved 27 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze medals in the competi-tion. Eight teams- Assam, Arunachal, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Army Marksmanship unit and Assam Rifles Marksmanship unit- took part in the competition which was organized by the Shooting Association of Meghalaya.
