Partha Chakraborty of Assam elected Treasurer of Sports Journalists Federation of India

GUWAHATI: Senior sports journalist Partha Chakraborty of Assam has been elected Treasurer of Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI) for the term 2023-2025.

Chakraborty, who is also the Treasurer of Assam Sports Journalists Association, was elected unopposed in the Annual General Meeting of SJFI held at Sports Club of Gujarat in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Tushar Trivedi of Gujarat and Prashant Keni of Mumbai were elected uncontested as President and Secretary respectively.

Assam Sports Journalists Association President Subodh Malla Barua was retained the Chairman of Young Reporters’ Programme, while ASJA Vice President Bidyut Kalita was also re-elected as Executive Member of the SJFI.
