Parthiv, Chandogya win double crown in OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis tournament

GUWAHATI: Parthiv Kalita and Chandogya T Pathak of Assam lifted the double crown in the OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis tournament for boys and girls under 12 and 14 years which concluded at the Chachal Tennis complex here today. Parthiv Kalita lifted the boys under 14 years singles and doubles crowns while Chandogya T Pathak won the boys under 12 years singles and doubles titles.

In a brief prize distribution ceremony the trophies and certificates were distributed by the chief guest Ramanuj Dutta, General Manager , Oil India Limited. RESULTS: GIRLS SINGLES UNDER 12 (FINAL): Avipsha Dehury ((OD) Beat Shristi Kiran (KA) 6-1, 1-0 (concede). BOYS SINGLES UNDER 12: Chandogya T Pathak (AS) Beat Heet Kandoriya (GJ) 6-1, 6-1. GIRLS SINGLES UNDER 14: Aradhyaa Verma (OD) Beat Shrishti Kiran (KA) W/O. BOYS SINGLES UNDER 14: Parthiv Kalita (AS) Beat Raunak Kashyap (AS) 6-0, 6-0. GIRLS DOUBLES UNDER 12: Eshal Pathan (MH) / Nayeen Hussain (AS) Beat Sanskriti S Borah (AS) / Arisha M Choudhury (AS) 6-4, 6-2. BOYS DOUBLES UNDER 12: Chandogya T Pathak (AS) / Abhay Bharali (AS) Beat Rishikesh Mane (MH) / Heet Kandoriya (GJ) 6-0, 6-1. GIRLS DOUBLES UNDER 14: Akansha Ghosh (WB) / Aradhya Verma (OD) Beat Manvi Rathi (DL) / Shanvitha Nukala (TS) 6-2, 6-3.
