Parthiv Kalita wins double crown at All Assam Junior Ranking Tennis Championship

GUWAHATI: Parthiv Kalita of North East Tennis Foundation lifted the double crown in the GAIL-NETF 33rd All Assam Junior Ranking Tennis Championship which concluded at the North East Tennis Foundation courts here today. Parthiv won the Boys U-14 & 18 titles by defeating Samaksh Sharma and Ramanuj P Talukdar respectively.

RESULTS: GIRLS UNDER 10 (BEST OF 3 SHORT SETS): Phaagun Jyoti beat Kristi Haloi 4-1, 2-4, 5-4(7-1).Boys under 10: Aryan Bharali beat Riyan J Dutta 4-1, 4-1. Girls under 12 Aryana Kakati beat Suzanne Lourembam 6-1, 6-2. Boys under 12: Nibras K. Hussain beat Naman Borah 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Girls under 14 Arnavi Debnath beat Soni Prajapati 6-3, 6-3. Boys under 14 Parthiv Kalita beat Samaksh sharma 6-2, 6-2. Girls under 18. Tania Kumari beat Arnavi Debnath 6-2, 6-3. Boys under 18: Parthiv Kalita beat Ramanuj Priyam Talukdar 6-4, 6-2.
