Preparation Camp of Assam, organized by Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare begins

GUWAHATI:  Preparation Camp of Assam, organized by Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, for the upcoming 37th National Games, which will be held in Goa, got underway in three different venues in the city. The camp was formally inaugurated by Nandita Gorlosa, Minister for Power, Sports & Youth Welfare, at Sarusajai Sports Complex on Tuesday. Secretary Kausar J Hilaly and Director Pradip Timung of Sports and Youth Welfare Department were also present at the ceremony.

Around 288 players, coaches and offcials are taking part in the camp which will run in three venues- RG Baruah Sports Complex, Sarusajai Sports Complex and SAI Complex- for 24 different events.
