Pride Cup Cricket: River Rine Club register narrow win

GUWAHATI: River Rine Club defeated ASEBSC Sports Club by a single wicket in a well contested game in the Pride Cup Cricket at Amingaon Ground today. Chasing 115 runs to win, River Rine club reached the target in 17 overs losing 9 wickets. In the other game of the day Ankurjyoti Club defeated Titan Club by 5 wickets. Rode on an unbeaten half-century knock from Vedant Pandey (78, 48 balls, 4X9, 6X1) Titan Club put 154-4 on the board. Vikas Rai (42) was the other major contributor. However due to rain the target was reduced to 101 in 13 overs and Ankurjytoi chased it 11.1 overs losing five wickets.
