SBI Inter Circle Volleyball Meet Begins

Guwahati: Circle Welfare Committee of State Bank of India North Eastern Circle is hosting the SBI Inter Circle Volleyball Tournament under the aegis of Sports Control Board State Bank of India, Corporate Center, Mumbai from today at LNIPE(NERC), Tepesia, Sonapur.

The four-day sporting event is being participated by teams from 16 Circles consisting of SBI employees. The tournament was inaugurated by O.P. Mishra DMD (HR) & CDO, SBI Corporate Centre, Mumbai in presence of RS Ramesh, CGM, SBI NE Circle along with Suranjana Dutta, GM(NW-I) and Lunkim Thangboi, GM (NW-II).

The opening ceremony was also attended by Soumya Datta, General Secretary (AIBOC & AISBIOF and Member of Sport Control Board) and Sanjeev Kumar Bandlish, General Secretary (AISBISF, NCBE and Convenor of UFBU) along with other senior officials of State Bank of India North eastern Circle.

Later, O.P. Mishra handed over a vehicle to Nedan Foundation, Kokrajhar under State Bank of India's CSR initiative and a cheque of Rs.73,96,830 to ANMA Integrated Development Association, Dimapur, Nagaland as the cost of Mobile Medical Van which is provided under the project "SBI Sanjeevani-Clinic on Wheels" carried out by SBI Foundation (CSR arm of SBI).
