Shivam, Subham, Sarasvat win titles of GTC Chess Grand Prix 2022-2023

GUWAHATI : The 8th edition of the GTC Chess Grand Prix 2022-2023 was held at Gauhati Town Club premises here today. Altogether 65 players from across the state participated in this daylong event. Shivam Dutta clinched the championship in the Open category by scoring 4.5 point out of 5 rounds. In the Under 9 category Sarasvat Deka scored 4.5 points out of 5 points and won the championship. In the Under 15 category Subham Bhattacharjee bagged the championship by scoring 5.5 point score out of 6 rounds.
