Silchar win in JK Baruah Cricket at Golaghat

GUWAHATI: A solid ton from Rohan Hazarika went in vain as Guwahati lost to Silchar in the two-day tie of JK Baruah Cricket at Golaghat today. Silchar won the game by virtue of the first innings lead.

In reply to Silchar 1st innings total 400-8 (declared) Guwahati today bowled out 248 in their first innings. Rohan, played a very patience knock, scored exactly hundred from 198 balls. Among the bowlers of SilcharParikshitBanik picked up 6-49.

With this defeat Guwahati bowed out from the competition losing both their matches by virtue of the first innings lead. Earlier Dhemaji registered 1st innings victory over Guwahati.
