South Point School shine in CBSE Far East Zone Rifle Championship

GUWAHATI: South Point School team shone in the recently concluded CBSE Far East Zone Rifle Championship, organized by Newtown School, Kolkata. Dishant Dey, a class IX student, won gold medal in Air Rifle Men (U-17) cetegory while Riyan Ray Chitrakar (Air Rifle Men U-19), Shreyasi Mazumdar (Air Rifle Women U-19), Sanakar Neog (Air Pistol Men U-17) won bronze medals in their respective categories.

All the medal winners have qualified to participate in the CBSE National Championship. Moreover, South Point School was adjudged as Best School in U-17 cetegory.
