SSB Salonibari represented Indian Speak Takraw team shine with medal in Asian Games

TEZPUR: SSB male and female sepak takraw team concentrated at RTC, SSB, Salonibari represented Indian Sepak Takraw team in recently held 19th Asian Games at Hangzhou.

Indian women Sepak Takraw team bagged bronze medal in Women Regu event in which SSB players A. Maipak Devi (India team captain), Khushbu & E. Leirentonbi Devi participated.

On October 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with and addressed the contingent of Indian athletes who participated in the Asian Games-2022 at New Delhi. Manmohan Singh, Dy. Inspector General, RTC, SSB, Salonibari and all ranks lauded the performance of India Sepak Takraw team for clinching the medal at the Asian Games and congratulated A. Maipak Devi, Khushbu & E. Leirentonbi Devi. Singh also informed that other SSB sports personnel also participated in Asian Games. SSB athlete Manju Rani won bronze medal in 35 km Race Walk.
