Sunrise Win Against GTC In RG Baruah Super Division Football League

GUWAHATI: Sunrise AC defeated Gauhati Town Club (GTC) 3-1 in the R G Baruah Super Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today.

Sunrise took the lead in the 15th minute through Mohammad Shahjahan and Jwngbla Brahma increased the margin in the 48th minute.

Ripunjay Deori reduced one for Gauhati Town Club in the 75th minute. However striker Manjit Rabha, who came in as a substitute, added another one for Sunrise in the 77th minute to seal the match for Sunrise. Meanwhile Kamrupa FC got a walkover against SAISC in Jibeswar Goswami (Gopal) A Division Football League.

Tomorrow's match: NF Railway SC vs Navajyoti club (Super Division League) and Narengi SC vs Rajbari AC (A Division).
