Tennis: Two upsets in All India Tennis Association

GUWAHATI: Unseeded Subhasish Roy of Assam caused a major upset in the boys under 18 singles pre-quarter defeating second seed Kalash Kumar of West Bengal in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 in the AITA Championship Series Tennis at ATTA complex in the city. In another upset unseeded Sankalp K Sahani of West Bengal ousted top seed Riyan Kashyap of Assam in straight sets 7-6(4), 6-4.
