Torch relay of Khelo India Youth Games 2020 held in Hailakandi

Hailakandi: The torch relay for the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 was held in Hailakandi in the wee hours on Wednesday. The relay began with the former international footballer, Jowel Bey leading from the front. Around 150 torchbearers comprising students, sportspersons and officials traversed through the main thoroughfares of the town before culminating at the Nazrul Sadan premises from where the torch relay started. The flame will be used to light the cauldron in the Indira Gandhi Stadium, where the opening ceremony will take place on Friday in Guwahati.
