Two upsets in JTC-AITA Championship series

GUWAHATI: The 6th Seed  Antariksh Tamuly and 4th Seed Shahir Farhaz, both from Assam, caused two major upsets in the semi-finals defeating top seed Arib Afzal from West Bengal and 2nd seed Sarnaav Ghosh, also from West Bengal, in the JTC-AITA Championship Series Tennis at Jorhat today. Antariksh defeated Arib by 7-5, 6-4 while Shahir beat Sarnaav by 6-2, 6-3.

The final matches of both boys and girls singles and doubles would be held tomorrow at Jorhat Tennis Club courts.
