GUWAHATI: Asomiya Pratidin and New Times Assam won their respective group mathces in the ongoing 3rd Raishmodi Nunisa North East Media Cricket Championship at Judges Field today.

Asomiya Pratidin beat Pratidin Time by 3 wickets while New Times Assam outplayed Karbi Anglong Press Club by 9 wickets.

1st match: Pratidin Time 116/10 in 19.5 overs (Sourav Nath 37, Deep Boro 34, Tauhid Ali Talukdar 4/8, Nipan Deka 2/23, Pusparaj Sarma 2/27) lost to Asomiya Pratidin 117/7 in 14.3 overs (Nipan Deka 30, Parthiv Hazarika 20no, Biswajit Deka 19).

2nd match: Karbi Anglong Press Club 61/10 in 13 overs (Tapan Sarma 2/9) lost to News Time Assam 62/1 in 7.5 overs (Rajiv Sarma 29no).
