GUWAHATI: President ACA, Rangia, Margherita and Lakhipur won their respective matches in the RG Baruah U-16 Inter District Cricket tournament held at various venues in the city today. President ACA, at the Nehru stadium, defeated Dhubri by 6 wickets.Tanay Kr Debnath, Pritam Pran Kalita and Yash Sharma played crucial roles in President ACA's victory.

At Amingaon Rangia earned an easy 5 wickets victory over Kaliabor. Sahil Ali of losing outfit scored a half century in the match while Chintu Das (50 no) and Sumit Bishnoi (38) came out with top performance during Rangia's innings. Rangia were once struggling at 3-18 when the duo joined together and they added 92 runs for the fourth wicket partnership which pushed Kaliabor out from the game.

Meanwhile at the 1st ground, ACA Stadium, Barsapara Lakhipur thrashed Naharkatia by 185 runs. Bireswar Dey of winning team scored 50 plus runs and Manoj Suna of Naharkatia bagged 5-38.

At the 2nd ground of ACA Stadium, Barsapara Margherita won by 5 wickets against Charaideo.Tohid Ali (5-16) and Subham Biswas played major roles in Margherita's victory.
