The results of HSLC have been declared in Manipur and the number of students who cleared the exams is whooping 100%. A total of 47,208 candidates from the state of Manipur enrolled and appeared for this year's examination and outstandingly not a single one failed to clear it after assessment.
Meanwhile, the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) declared the results for the 2021 HSCL exam on Saturday. For the year 2021, BSEM managed to achieve a 100 percent pass percentage but due to the new norms of evaluation after the COVID-19 pandemic, no one was awarded any positions or had any criteria of subject wise toppers list.
According to the new assessment system, a total number of 47,208 candidates appeared for the 2021 examination and all of them successfully cleared the examinations after assessment. Even the divisions this were allotted in accordance with the new assessment criteria made by the BSEM from the 20 marks internal exam. The remaining 80 marks were from the periodical test taken by their respective Schools.
As per the declared HSLC results this year, 47.29 percent (22,323) secured first division, 44.65 percent (21,079) secured second division & 8.06 percent (3806) got third division.
The BSEM stated that a total number of 12,562 government school students along with 2177 govt-aided school students cleared the HSLC exams and the rest belonged to private schools, which is nearly two-thirds of students appeared and passed this year.
