Earthquake strikes in Manipur's Kamjong district

Kamjong: Manipur's Kamjong district was jolted by an earthquake of 3.4 magnitude on the Ritcher scale. In the wee hours of Friday, the tremors of this low-intensity earthquake were felt. The depth of the earthquake was reported as 10 KM.

The National Centre of Seismology (NCS) shared the information about the tremor through a tweet,

However, there are no immediate reports of any injuries or property damage due to the earthquake.

Three days back, another earthquake of higher magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Ukhrul district of Manipur. Manipur has felt around three earthquakes since September 1, the higher one measuring 5.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale.
