At around 6.30 p.m. on April 3, a powerful bomb detonated in Manipur's Ukhrul district, injuring up to five people, one of whom is still in critical condition. The incident occurred near the Makhan Store and the Viewland Baptist Church. The hospital serving the Ukhrul district treated the victim.

The corpse was discovered at the Garubhasha police station and has now been recognised as the car's driver. The tragedy has shocked the entire area and people are still processing the awful news.

The driver had been absent for several hours before his death was discovered, according to early investigations. Although it is now unknown if there was any sort of foul play, the police have started a thorough investigation to ascertain the facts surrounding the driver's passing.
