Manipur: Another Bomb Blast Rocks Imphal

Imphal: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bomb blast rocked the Manipur's capital city Imphal on Saturday evening.

Reportedly, it went off at Thangmeiband Lourung Purel Leikai Road yesterday at around 7.50 pm. However, no casualty so far has been reported.

Upon receiving the information of the same, a team of police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

Meanwhile, as per reports, police have launched an investigation into the matter and are looking for every possible hint.

Notably, one of another, the state is witnessing major to minor bomb blasts which is rising with the time.

This is the second blast in month of June as on June 5, a powerful IED went off outside the Little Flower School in Imphal.
