Manipur: Justice Siddharth Mridul Sworn In as Chief Justice of Manipur High Court

IMPHAL: In a significant legal ceremony at the Raj Bhawan in Imphal, Justice Siddharth Mridul was inaugurated as the new Chief Justice of Manipur High Court. The oath of office was administered by Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey, with Chief Minister N Biren Singh and key cabinet members among the notable attendees.

Justice Siddharth Mridul, in his first address as the Chief Justice of Manipur High Court, expressed his immense delight at this prestigious appointment and conveyed his strong determination to ensure a productive and effective tenure. One of his primary commitments is to address the backlog of pending cases, which currently amounts to approximately 3,335 at the High Court of Manipur.
