Manipur: Significant Joint Operation Yields Cache of Arms and Police Gear in Sinam village

IMPHAL: In a remarkable and meticulously planned joint operation, a substantial cache of arms, ammunition, police uniforms, and bulletproof jackets was recovered from a location in Sinam village, located under the Sagolman Police station in Manipur's Imphal East district. This operation, a first-of-its-kind collaborative effort, was conducted with the combined forces of the Indian Army's Red Shield Division, Border Security Force, Assam Rifles, CRPF, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Manipur Police, Manipur Rifles, and India Reserve Battalion. Under the able command of the Inspector General of Manipur Police Zone (I), this operation resulted in the successful seizure of a diverse assortment of items. Among the recovered arsenal were an AK 47 rifle, a 303 rifle, 1 carbine, an empty magazine of an LMG, 5 bulletproof jackets, 5 sets of full police T-shirts, and one pair of police trousers. Following the recovery of these items, they were promptly handed over to the Sagolmang police station for further legal proceedings.
