Manipur: Tragic Shooting Incident Claims Man's Life During Bird Hunting

Two dear friends, R Moses (35) and Sanathoi Khumukcham (47), embarked on a bird-hunting expedition that ended in heartbreak and loss of life.

The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. as the duo ventured into a sprawling paddy field, eager to hunt wild birds. They were equipped with a licensed shotgun, their chosen tool for this unfortunate endeavor. Little did they know that this decision would lead to a terrible accident that would change their lives forever.

In an instant, the licensed gun, in the possession of R Moses, misfired, and a single fatal shot rang out, striking Sanathoi Khumukcham. The unintentional discharge proved fatal, leading to the tragic death of the 47-year-old man from Umathel Awang Leikai, Thoubal district.
