IMPHAL: An anonymous guy was found shot dead in the Imphal East area of Manipur, close to a place of worship, in a shocking occurrence. The victim had his wrists chained behind him and was blindfolded; his identity is yet unknown. Around ten o'clock on Tuesday night, the lifeless corpse was discovered.

The man was shot three times, according to police reports, and three empty cartridges were found at the site. It's shocking that no organisation has taken credit for this horrible deed.

The mystery surrounding the case was increased by the fact that the deceased was dressed in pants and a camouflage jacket. Following the complaint, the authorities moved quickly to send a team of Manipur police and forensic specialists to the scene. Following a thorough inspection on location, the corpse was sent to the mortuary at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal East.

The public is left wondering what caused this unfortunate tragedy, even as investigations continue to be conducted. Authorities are working to find the truth behind this horrific crime as the horrifying discovery made next to a house of worship has shocked the locals.

Previously,in the state's resurgent violence on Tuesday (November 07), at least 12 people were injured, including two Manipur police commandos and four women who were labouring in rice fields.

When armed miscreants opened unjustified fire at about 8:30 am on Tuesday, November 7, in Manipur, from the hilltop of the Kangchup along the inter-district boundary of Kangpokpi and Imphal West, eight people were injured by bullets, including four women and two commandos of the Manipur police.

Tuesday, November 07, at about 8.30 am, two villagers were injured by armed miscreants opening fire in the villages of Kangangband and Koutruk in the Imphal West district of Manipur.

On May 3 of this year, ethnic violence broke out in Manipur, leading to the deaths of nearly 180 people and the displacement of 61,000 and more.
