Manipur University allows 6th semester students to choose centre in home districts

In view of ongoing pandemic and safety concerns, the Manipur University has decided to allow students from far flung districts of the state to exercise option to select their examination centres for end semester of 6th semester for BA/BSc/BCom/BTT/BSW/BFT (Theory) Examinations 2020 in their home districts.

In a press statement issued by MU controller of examination A Narayan on Saturday stated that it is a high risk for students from other districts to stay/commute to their colleges for the ensuing examination.

Consequently, the students may be given option to choose their examination centres in their respective districts. They are asked to submit their application to the Controller of Examination, Manipur University on or before the September 5 through the University's official website.

It is to be mentioned that the principals/OCs may be authorised to select any school/institution other than their parent institutions as exam centre if necessary.

Notably, all principals/OCs are requested to kindly submit the final list of students to appear at the respective centres along with the subjects offered by the candidates, the statement added.
