MANIPUR: The Srikona battalion of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), celebrated its 21st Raising Day along with locals at New Kaiphundai and Nungba villages in Tamenlong district of Manipur.
The village chairman, along with authority members, pastors of the Baptist church, the president of the youth club, and the village secretary, joined the Assam Rifles. As the battalion marked another milestone, the locals congratulated the troops for their efforts to strengthen the bond with the civils, stated a press release.
