Ukhrul in Manipur jolted by a quake of 4.3 on the Richter Scale

Ukhrul, Manipur: The Ukhrul district of Manipur jolted by an earthquake at 3:32 AM on Wednesday. The quake measured 4.3 on the Richter Scale.

There was no report of injury or damage to property as a result of the quake. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) informed about the tremor through a tweet. NCS said that depth of the quake was 10 km. This was the second quake in 36 days.

Last month, on September 1, an earthquake of higher magnitude, 5.1 occurred at 55 Km east of Ukhrul, Manipur.
