20 cattle heads seized by BSF personnel of West Jaintia Hills district

SHILLONG: Superintendent of Police (SP) West Jaintia Hills district, Jowai Lakador Syiem informed that BSF personnel of Muktapur BOP have seized 20 cattle heads on June 1 and 2. The SP further informed that cattle’s were intended for smuggling purposes. “We request the owners or anyone who has knowledge of any cattle theft to approach to Dawki police station for details,” he said.
