231 new COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Meghalaya, on Thrusday, registered 231 new COVID cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 2,682, the health department said in a bulletin. The State also records 362 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases have reached 70,841. Meanwhile, two more persons succumbed to the infections in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of fatalities from COVID infection to 1,294 so far.
