Anti Narcotic Traffic Force Recover 9.09 Grams of Heroin in Shillong

Shillong: The Anti Narcotic Traffic Force (ANTF) made another haul of narcotics in the heart of Shillong city on Tuesday. In the continuing endeavor to control the drug menace in Shillong, Jhalupara OP and Anti Narcotic Traffic Force team were able to recover 9.09 grams of heroin from W Kharumnuid of 4th Mile Pynthor. Terming it as one of the best catch, Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Shillong, congratulates the local Dorbar and VDP for seminal contribution in nabbing the drug peddler.Kharumnuid has been procuring drugs from Guwahati and sold them in 4th Mile area. The case has been registered under Section 21(b) NDPS Act and further investigation is on, informed the police.
