AOC of Eastern Air Command Marshal RD Mathur honoured with PVSM

SHILLONG: Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, headquartered in Shillong, Air Marshal RD Mathur has been conferred with the “Param Vishisht Seva Medal” (PVSM) by the President of India on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26. The Air Marshal was also appointed Honorary Air ADC to the President of India January 1. He had earlier also been decorated with “Ati Vishisht Seva Medal” (AVSM) in 2014 and “Vishisht Seva Medal” (VSM) in 2003. Air Vice Marshal B Chandra Sekhar, Senior Officer-in-Charge of Administration of Eastern Air Command has been awarded “Ati Vishisht Seva Medal” (AVSM).
