Shillong: The North East Students Organisation (NESO) wants that the legislative assemblies of Assam and Tripura should follow suit by passing a resolution to introduce ILP in their respective States. Reacting to the unanimous decision passed by the Meghalaya Assembly, Chairman of NESO Samuel Jyrwa told The Sentinel on Thursday evening, that it is time for Assam and Tripura to come out with a similar resolution to protect the indigenous people of their States. He categorically iterated that the NESO stand is to make all the exempted sister States to be included under the ILP.
