BJP MLA AL Hek likely to be Advisor of MDA (Meghalaya Democratic Alliance)

SHILLONG: After BJP MLA AL Hek was removed as Health Minister and replaced by his colleague -- Sanbor Shullai in the State Cabinet, there are talks that he (Hek) might be appointed as 'Advisor' to the MDA (Meghalaya Democratic Alliance) government.

''We have had talks in these past couple of days to appoint AL Hek as advisor to the government but no official notification has yet to be issued on this matter," informed sources.

Mentionably, after Hek was removed as Health Minister, his portfolio was handed over to Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong. During the reshuffle in the State Cabinet, Sanbor Shullai was given the charge of Art & Culture Department.
