SHILLONG: On the eve of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) on Saturday, the Border Security Force (BSF) greeted Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and exchanged sweets with each other while adhering to the protocol of COVID-19 taking all precautionary measures.
In present scenario of COVID-19 and floods in the Border area, both the border guarding forces are tackling smuggling and other trans-border crimes with excellent coordination and trust among them. There is a smooth exchange of information between the forces upon which prompt action is being taken, said UK Nayal, DIG/PRO BSF Meghalaya.
Meanwhile conveying his best wishes and greetings to BGB, Kuldeep Saini, Inspector General, Meghalaya Frontier of BSF, said that the BSF and the BGB while guarding the International border are also setting up an unprecedented example of deep friendship between them and acting as ambassadors of their respective countries. He also wished best of health and happiness to the people of Meghalaya on the occasion of EId-ul-Zuha, stated a release.
