COVID-19: Containment area restrictions lifted in Mawlai Nongpdeng

SHILLONG: The containment area restrictions has been lifted in Mawlai Nongpdeng on Friday. The East Khasi Hills District Magistrate Matsiewdor War Nongbri issued an order for lifting the restrictions from Mawlai Nongpdeng in view of non-detection of any new positive COVID-19 case. She said that based on contact tracing status and test reports of high risk contacts in Mawlai Nongpdeng and in view of reports received Mawlai Nongpdeng which was placed earlier under containment area have been have been lifted with effect from 31st July, 2020.
