Dispute over land for funeral: Disparsing Rani

SHILLONG: An RTI activist, Disparsing Rani informed that the land for funeral claimed by Seng Khasi, Catholics and the Dorbar of Mawkhan Pashir under Mylliem, East Khasi Hills actually did not belong to anyone. Based on an RTI reply to his queries, Rani told the media on Monday that the disputed area was a no man's land and nobody could claim it. There were claims and counter claims regarding the land in the past.
